KAD Community Meetup and Dinner - Melbourne

It's looking like a very busy year in the adoptee community and the KAIAN committee is getting together to draft our target activities and focus areas. We'll also be joined by our friends at AUSKRG and KADS Connect to discuss what's been going on with investigation-related matters and then would love to invite the broader Korean adoptee community to meet with us for dinner.

Some key events in 2026:

• Korea's Truth and Reconciliation Commission has reopened for new applications.

• The Australian Government investigation into the Korea-Australia adoption program is likely to be announced prior to this event.

• The Korean government's Overseas Korean Agency Gathering conference is running in May, limited to 90 Korean adoptees.

• The IKAA Gathering conference is running in October, usually attracting 400+ adoptees from around the world.
