About the event
Chuseok is one of Korea's major holidays and is sometimes referred to as “Korean Thanksgiving”. During Chuseok, Koreans gather with their families to eat a traditional feast that includes celebratory foods such as Korean pancakes, braised beef and sweet potato noodles. Songpyeon (a sweet rice cake treat) is one of the most culturally recognised symbols of Chuseok.
KAIAN has been fortunate enough to receive a grant from ICAFSS (Intercountry Adoptee and Family Support Services) to partially fund a community dinner in Melbourne.
