We had an amazing day at 2023 KAIAN Commune, hosting 30+ Korean adoptees from around the country!
Highlights from the day included a fantastic Research & Creatives Insights panel lead by Dr Jessica Walton, breakout session discussing our experiences with identity, Adopted Feels discussion on relationships/dating as an adoptee and a delicious lunch from Migak sponsored by the Korean Language School of Melbourne.
Thank you to the ICAFFS small grants program for supporting our community and a massive thank you to all attendees, committee members and helpers for making this one of the most successful events in our organisation's history
Impressively, the majority of attendees found energy to stay out for drinks, Korean BBQ and noraebang (karaoke) until the early hours of morning too.
